The Eastern Diocese’s Krikor & Clara Zohrab Information Center and St. Nersess Seminary will sponsor a day-long conference on His Holiness Karekin Hovsepian, late Catholicos of Cilicia and Primate of the Diocese. The conference, titled “Soldier of the Light: The Aspirations of Catholicos Karekin Hovsepian” and marking the 150th anniversary of Hovsepian’s birth, will take place on Saturday, Mar. 24, from 10:30 a.m. (10 a.m. check-in) to 4 p.m., with midday lunch served, on the campus of St. Nersess Seminary (486 Bedford Rd., Armonk, NY). Speakers include Dr. Abraham Terian, Dr. Roberta Ervine, Dr. Christine Maranci, Fr. Mampre Kouzouian, Fr. Karekin Kasparian, and Mr. Nubar Kupelian. Fr. Daniel Findikyan will moderate.
