New York’s Episcopal Cathedral of Saint John the Divine will host a Solemn Prayer and Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, on Sunday, Apr. 28, at 10:30 a.m., in the cathedral (1047 Amsterdam Ave., b/n W. 110th and W. 113th Sts., New York City). St. John the Divine Cathedral Dean Fr. Patrick Malloy will be celebrant at the Holy Eucharist. Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America, will be guest homilist. With the participation of The Gomidas Choir of the Diocese: Kris Kalfayan, director; Fr. Mamigon Kiledjian, organist. During this solemn liturgical service, the Intercessory Prayer for the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide will be offered before the Armenian Khatchkar in the St. Saint John the Divine Cathedral sanctuary.
