Armenian professional associations in the engineering, scientific, legal, health, and other fields are sponsoring the 15th annual Mentoring & Networking Forum, on Friday, Mar. 28, at 6:30 p.m. This year’s forum will meet at the St. Vartan Cathedral Complex, in Haik and Alice Kavookjian Auditorium (630 Second Ave., at 35th St., New York City). College and high school students, as well as working professionals will have the opportunity to network with professionals in a variety of fields. The program will begin with a short panel on networking for employment, then break into groups dedicated to specific fields. Snacks and beverages served; free admission. To register click here. New York’s 13th annual “Socially Relevant Film Festival” will screen Armenian films from Mar. 11 through 15, including The Last Wish (Wednesday, Mar. 11, 8 p.m.) at the LenFest Center for the Arts (615 W. 129th St., NYC), and My Armenian Phantoms (Sunday, Mar. 15, 5:30 p.m.) at Cinema Village (22 E. 12th St., NYC). Holy Resurrection Church of New Britain, CT, will be the venue for Saintly Women’s Day on Saturday, Mar. 14, at the church (1910 Stanley St., New Britain). Hosting parish is St. George Church of Hartford. Prayer service led by Fr. Voski Galstyan begins at 11 a.m.; luncheon with speaker Taline Norsigian to follow.
