Holy Ascension Church of Trumbull, CT, will host a regional celebration of the Feast of the Holy Ascension of Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 26, at the church (1460 Huntington Trnpk., Trumbull). Diocesan Primate Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan will preside over the service, which begins with a Hrashapar service to welcome the new Primate at 10:40 a.m., and continues with the Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. EDT. Fr. Haroutiun Sabounjian will be the celebrant, and Fr. Arshen Aivazian the preacher of the day. Diocesan clergy of the NY, NJ, CT, RI communities will participate, hosted by parish pastor Fr. The churches of St. George (Hartford, CT), St. Mark (Springfield, MA), and Holy Resurrection (New Britain, CT) will host the “Armenian Open 2022” golf tournament on Saturday, Jun. 11, at the Tallwood Country Club (91 North St., Hebron, CT).
