The Eastern Diocese’s Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center will hold another evening of online instruction in classical Armenian, titled “Krapar yev Kini,” on Monday, Apr. 25, at 7 p.m. EDT, over the Zoom video conference platform. The faithful of St. Sarkis Church in Carrollton, TX, will celebrate the consecration of their new Armenian Church on Saturday, Apr. 23, at 10:30 a.m., at the site of the newly-built church (4421 Charles St., Carrollton, TX). Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will preside over the consecration service and banquet (at 3 p.m.), as well as the Opening of Doors service on Friday, Apr. 22 (6:30 p.m.) and the inaugural liturgy on Sunday, Apr. 24 (10:30 a.m.). Holy Trinity Church of Cambridge, MA, and the Erevan Choral Society and Orchestra will present an in-person Spring Concert on Sunday, Apr. 24, at 1:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary (145 Brattle St., Cambridge). Founded by Fr. Oshagan Minassian (1930-2008), the Society sings under the baton of Konstantin Petrossian. The concert dedicated to the sainted martyrs of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 will feature vocal and instrumental soloists, and recitations by Armenian School students. Open to the public, admission is free.
