The Eastern Diocese will honor Armenian intellectual and educator Zarminé Boghosian, on the occasion of the publication of her memoir, Ազէզէն – Ամերիկա (“From Azaz to America”), on Wednesday, April 27, at 6:30 p.m., in Haik & Alice Kavookjian Auditorium of the Diocesan Center (630 Second Ave., at 35th St., New York City). Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will preside over the reception, which is in-person and open to the public. Sahag & Mesrob Church of Providence, RI, in cooperation with the Armenian Martyrs Memorial committee, will mark the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with a “Solemn Memorial Service and Concert of Armenian Patriotic Songs,” on Wednesday, Apr. 20, at 7 p.m., in the church’s Egavian Hall (70 Jefferson St., Providence). Featuring soloists of the Armenian Chorale of Rhode Island. The Cultural Committee of St. Thomas Church (Tenafly, NJ) will host an Interactive Mystery Theater and Dinner on Saturday, Apr. 30, at 7 p.m., at the church facility (174 Essex Drive, Tenafly). A troupe of actors will stage the play, Now You See It, Now You Don’t, and invite audience members to participate in solving the crime of a jewel theft.
