Smyrna, My Beloved, a dramatic feature film depicting the burning of Smyrna (commemorating the 100th anniversary of that terrible event), will receive two special screenings in the New York area: on Friday, Apr. 29, at 7 p.m., at the Directors Guild Theater (110 West 57th St., NYC); and on Sunday, May 1, at 4 p.m., at the Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35th Ave., Astoria, NY). The screenings are presented by the Hellenic Film Society USA. Smyrna, My Beloved is in Greek and English, with English subtitles.
