The ACYOA’s yearly Mission Trip will run from Thursday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023. The weekend-long, faith-based service trip for young adults will bring outreach to the Eastern Diocese’s mission parish in Atlanta. Additionally, participants will work with Habitat for Humanity on a home being built in nearby Roswell, GA. The Mission Trip is open to all young adults 18 and older, and will be limited to 18 participants (applicants should be prepared to do physical labor at a Habitat for Humanity site). Online registration is now open on the ACYOA website. The Cultural Committee of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church (Providence, RI) will continue its popular online series, “Armenian Cultural Hour” on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 7:30 p.m. This week features a memorial concert for the late virtuoso on the kamancha, David Ayriyan. Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church of Providence, RI, will hold a Christmas concert, “Silent Night, Holy Night,” on Friday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m., in the church sanctuary (70 Jefferson St., Providence). Presented by parish Cultural Committee, featuring the Armenian Chorale of Rhode Island and soloists, the Junior Choir and Armenian School students. Refreshments following, donations welcome. The Music Guild of St. John Church (Southfield, MI) will hold a concert by the Naghash Ensemble from Armenia, on Friday, Mar. 10, at 7:30 p.m., in the church’s cultural hall (22001 Northwestern Hwy., Southfield). St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Church of Wynnewood, PA, will hold its annual Christmas Food Festival on Friday and Saturday evenings, December 2 and 3, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the church facility (630 Clothier Rd., Wynnewood).
