“The 1915 Portfolio,” a solo art exhibit by Ani Jermakian, will be on display at the University of Massachusetts Student Union Gallery (Bartlett Hall Rm. #310, 130 Hicks Way, Amherst) from Sep. 23 through Oct. 11, with an opening reception on Friday, Sep. 27, at 7 p.m. The exhibit presents work in various media that tells the story of the Armenian Genocide through the eyes of a great-granddaughter of survivors; the artist is a member of St. Mark Church in Springfield, MA. Holy Trinity Church of Cambridge, MA, and the Erevan Choral Society and Orchestra will present a “Christmas Holiday Concert” on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary (145 Brattle St., Cambridge). This year’s concert will feature Metropolitan Opera soprano Tatev Baroyan, and tenor Fr. Ghazar Bedrossian, who will join the chorale under the baton of Maestro Konstantin Petrossian.
