“The 1915 Portfolio,” a solo art exhibit by Ani Jermakian, will be on display at the University of Massachusetts Student Union Gallery (Bartlett Hall Rm. #310, 130 Hicks Way, Amherst) from Sep. 23 through Oct. 11, with an opening reception on Friday, Sep. 27, at 7 p.m. The exhibit presents work in various media that tells the story of the Armenian Genocide through the eyes of a great-granddaughter of survivors; the artist is a member of St. Mark Church in Springfield, MA.
