St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Church of Wynnewood, PA, will hold its 55th annual Christmas Food Festival on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30-Dec. 1, 5:30-8:30 p.m., in the church hall (630 Clothier Rd., Wynnewood). St. Leon Church of Fair Lawn, NJ, will host a book presentation by Dr. Susan Pattie, author of The Armenian Legionnaires: Sacrifice and Betrayal in World War I. The event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7:45 p.m., in Charles & Grace Pinajian Youth Ctr. (12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn). Dr. Pattie will describe the motivations of the Armenian Legionnaires and their betrayal as France and Britain shifted priorities, leaving the Armenian homeland to the emerging Republic of Turkey.
