The Armenian Church Youth Organization of America (ACYOA) will hold the annual “Bishop’s 5K Run/Walk” on Saturday, October 3—but due to pandemic restrictions, it will take a “virtual” turn this year. Participants can run or walk the 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) at a time and place that best suits them, after first registering for the race. Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel Findikyan is taking part and envisions the event as a way for faithful of all ages to come together to promote physical, mental, and spiritual health. UPDATE: The ACYOA has announced that all proceeds from the Bishop’s 5K will benefit humanitarian relief efforts in Artsakh, rather than future ministries of the ACYOA as previously announced. Support the effort using the links above.
