More than 350 ACYOA Seniors and young adults from across the Eastern Diocese met for the 2023 ACYOA General Assembly and Sports Weekend. This year’s gathering over Memorial Day Weekend was hosted by the ACYOA Seniors of St. Leon Church in Fair Lawn, NJ.
Over Memorial Day Weekend, 130 ACYOA Juniors from 11 parishes throughout the northeast, together with their chaperones, enthusiastically gathered at St. James Church in Watertown, MA, for the 45th annual Hye M’rtsoom ACYOA Junior Sports Weekend.
The Eastern Diocese is pleased to announce that as of the beginning of April, Yn. Hasmik Ajamian has been appointed to serve as the Eastern Diocese’s new “Children and Family Ministry Specialist,” within the Diocesan Ministries department.
On the weekend of April 1-2, members of the ACYOA Central Council visited parishes around the Eastern Diocese to celebrate ACYOA Day. Held every Palm Sunday, the purpose of ACYOA Day is to focus attention on the vitality of the ACYOA, its members, its accomplishments, and its role in local parish communities.
The Eastern Diocese is pleased to announce that Yn. Arpi Kouzouian will return to oversee the St. Vartan Camp program this summer.
