During a concert in Yerevan’s prestigious Arno Babajanian Concert Hall, titled “Komitas: Musician and Poet,” an ensemble of young musicians from the Eastern Diocese contributed to a celebration of the musical and poetic legacy of one of Armenia’s most cherished figures.
On July 24, His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received the young participants in this year’s ACYOA Seniors Armenian Service Program (ASP) during a special gathering at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Bishop Mesrop returned to St. Nersess Armenian Seminary last week, to spend time among the young faithful taking part in the seminary’s various summer programs. This time, he joined the bright participants of the High School Summer Conference.
The worldwide Armenian Church Youth Organization (ACYOWorld) held its meeting of chairpersons on July 12. Clergy and youth leaders from across the globe joined in the online gathering, with the encouragement and blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
