Now, the Eastern Diocese is offering a way for you to contribute directly to the ministries that are the most meaningful to you. Featured below are three current Diocesan Ministries projects that would greatly benefit from your support.
Help transform lives by contributing to these vital youth ministries:
Diocesan Summer Camps
Each summer, Hye Camp and St. Vartan Camp are transformative experiences for youth throughout the Eastern Diocese. Instruction in religion, Armenian language and heritage, and arts and crafts—alongside sports, swimming, and engaging social programs—foster spiritual, cultural, and personal growth among the campers. Campers also form lifelong friendships, and a deeper connection to their faith.
- Sponsor a camper for the summer:
- $1,480 for a two-week session at St. Vartan Camp
- $850 for a weeklong session at Hye Camp.
Building Faith & Fellowship
The ACYOA Regional Lenten Retreats bring young adults together in three regional locations across the Eastern Diocese, for a day of reflection, spiritual growth, and connection to the church and each other.
ACYOA Senior’s National Fall Retreat is a three-day spiritual and educational gathering of prayer, leadership training, and fellowship for young adults.
ACYOA Mission Trip partners with Habitat for Humanity to allow young adults to serve the Diocese’s mission parishes as well as the larger society, growing in their faith through outreach and service.
- Annual cost of a Regional Lenten Retreat: $1,500
- Annual cost of the National Fall Retreat: $25,000 (Per participant: $500)
- Annual cost of the Mission Trip: $25,000 (Limited to 20 participants)
A Journey of Discovery
For decades, the Armenia Service Program (ASP) has given young adults the profound experience of visiting their homeland. Participants are immersed in the scenic beauty and culture of Armenia, while engaging in meaningful service to its people, young and old alike.
- Annual cost of the Armenian Service Program: $100,000
- Sponsorship of one participant (including airfare): $4,000
