IN-PERSON EVENT: Armenian Genocide Commemoration in Connecticut
The Armenian Genocide Commemoration Committee of Connecticut will host an in-person commemoration of the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on Saturday, Apr. 22, at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the historic Connecticut House Chamber of the State Capitol (210 Capitol Ave., Hartford). Clergy from the state’s Armenian churches will offer the “Prayer for the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.” Keynote speaker Aram Hamparian of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) will speak on “The Current Crisis in Artsakh: The Genocide Continues.” A reception will follow.
