Oriental Orthodox Churches Youth Conference
The 8th annual gathering of youth from Oriental Orthodox churches will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the St. Mary Coptic School (80 David St., South River, NJ). The event is sponsored by the Standing Conference of Oriental Orthodox Youth Association (SCOOYA). Diocesan Primate Bp. Daniel Findikyan will attend with the leaders of our sister Oriental Orthodox churches. The conference theme, “Women in Oriental Orthodoxy,” will feature keynote speakers and a panel of women from each of the jurisdictions: Armenian, Coptic, Ethiopian, Syriac, Malankara Syriac, and Eritrean churches.
