Via the Zoom video conference platform, explore the history and culture of Artsakh—as its people confront an existential threat—and discover a legacy of creativity and resistance. College students, adults and high school students are invited to join Prof. Khatchig Mouradian and his featured guests—scholars, artists, and journalists—in this 4-week multi-media seminar that will employ photography, poetry, and art to delve into the past and shed light on the present of Artsakh and its people. The Cultural Committee of Sts. The ACYOA Central Council will host the 3rd Annual ACYOA Seniors Fall Retreat on Saturday, Nov. 14. The day-long virtual program will run from 10 AM – 6 PM EST (9 AM – 5 PM CST) with scheduled breaks throughout the day. Young adults 18 years old and over are encouraged to attend. A dynamic schedule of speakers will focus on the theme of “Heal Us, O Lord.” Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will begin the morning, and Fr. Hratch Sargsyan will close the day. Speakers are Alex Ouzounian, Dn. Yervant Kutchukian, and Maria Derderian. There is no cost to participate, and all young adults are encouraged to join us.
