An online panel discussion, “Mass Media in Genocide Prevention: The Promise and Peril of the Digital Age,” will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. EST, over the Zoom conference platform. Organized by Armenia’s Mission to the United Nations, in observance of the UN’s International Day of Remembrance for the Victms of Genocide. The Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is continuing its online fellowship series through the fall, under the title #FellowshipFromHome. The virtual forum is a continuation of the series #StayHome and #StayConnected, launched last spring in the immediate aftermath of the pandemic crisis. #FellowshipFromHome will meet monthly with the aim of keeping Armenian Church youth and young adults virtually connected, despite the restrictions on gatherings of the COVID-19 pandemic. The December schedule is as follows:
