ONLINE YOUTH ACTIVITY: Virtual Winter Family Camp
The Eastern Diocese will hold its first-ever Virtual Winter Family Camp on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST). Virtual Winter Family Camp is planned as a fun day for all ages—filled with prayer, learning, and fellowship. There will be scheduled breaks throughout the day, and participants can join as many sessions as they like. The online event is organized by the directors of the Eastern Diocese’s Hye Camp and St. Vartan Camp, and the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. There is no cost to register. ONLINE Youth Fellowship: “Monday Meditation”
The ACYOA Central Council will host the second session of its online initiative for Armenian Church youth, called “Monday Meditation,” led by Fr. Vart Gyozalyan (Hye Pointe Church, Haverhill, MA), on the evening of Monday, February 22, starting at 7 p.m. EST (6 p.m. CST). The virtual bible study session is open to ACYOA Juniors (ages 13-18) and Seniors (18 and older), and lasts between 60 and 75 minutes. ONLINE Variety Series: Armenian Cultural Hour
The Cultural Committee of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church (Providence, RI) will broadcast another episode of its online series, “Armenian Cultural Hour” on Friday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. The program is a benefit concert by musicians of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, titled “Your Heroism is Immortal” (Part 1). Contributions can be made during the concert to aid wounded Armenian soldiers.
