St. John Church (Southfield, MI) will host its 26th annual “Rev. Fr. Divan and Yn. Rosalie Papazian Parish Retreat” on Saturday, Mar. 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, as an online event over the Zoom platform. This year’s retreat, titled “Embracing Isolation … Christ’s Way,” features an opening prayer from Bishop Daniel, messages from Fr. Yeprem Kelegian and Fr. Hratch Sargsyan, and breakout sessions. The Cultural Committee of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church (Providence, RI) will broadcast another episode of its online series, “Armenian Cultural Hour” on Friday, Mar. 12, at 7:30 p.m. The concert titled “Songs and Dance,” features the Greater Worcester Armenian Chorale and the young performers of the Arevig Dance Group. The Eastern Diocese’s Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center will host a lecture titled “Literary Responses to the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict,” on Monday, Mar. 22, at 7 p.m. (EST) over the Zoom platform. Scholar Arakel Minassian (M.A. in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the U. of Michigan) will present two contemporary literary responses to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
