Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern), has announced a fundraising campaign to help the restoration effort currently underway at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
On Wednesday, March 1, Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern), hosted an ecumenical luncheon at the Diocesan Center honoring the leader of the Syriac Orthodox Church: His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East.
On Thursday, February 23, 2017, the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America commemorated the Feast of Vartanantz with a Divine Liturgy service and dinner program held at St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral in New York.
The International Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic and Oriental Orthodox Churches has released its report for the group’s 14th annual meeting, which took place in Rome, January 22-27, 2017. The Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity hosted the gathering.
