Bishop Mesrop and the community celebrated Badarak at the local St. Mark Coptic Church and engaged in discussions about the future of the mission parish. The Primate said that this experience “reinforced my belief in the importance of unity and the need to connect the various parishes of our Diocese through a shared faith, vision, and mission. United, we are indeed stronger.”
Bishop Mesrop extended thanks to Fr. Norayr Kazazian of St. Sarkis Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, for his commitment to this community, and to all the people of Myrtle Beach for their warm hospitality. “May God’s grace continue to fortify and guide this extraordinary community on its spiritual journey,” he said.
