Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will introduce his new book, Building Up the Body of Christ: The Treasure of the Armenian Church for Our People Today, in a video premiering on Saturday evening, March 26.
The book itself will be available to the public as a paperback volume and digital file later this month—with an audio version planned for release in April.
In the video—set to coincide with the Feast of the Forty Martyrs of Sepastia—Bishop Daniel introduces viewers to a vision that can guide the Diocese and its faithful in the 21st century. Called “Building Up the Body of Christ,” the vision encompasses the spiritual richness of the Armenian Church’s mission, while giving practical guidance on questions of education, service, worship, outreach, and governance.
Drawing on Scripture and Armenian Church history, Bishop Daniel describes a project of ambitious scope and deep meaning for individual faithful, local parishes, and the Diocese overall.
Tune in to the Eastern Diocese’s YouTube page on Saturday, March 26, at 5 p.m. EDT, for the video premier. And look for information on ordering Building Up the Body of Christ: The Treasure of the Armenian Church for Our People Today in the coming days.
