Strength of Spirit in Uncertain Times

Join the worldwide #GivingTuesday movement today, Tuesday, November 30, by offering a gift to the Eastern Diocese. In this critical time, #GivingTuesday is a way to show thanks to the causes that bring meaning and enrichment to your life.

The past twenty months have brought great challenges and hardships to Armenian Christians—whether here in America, or among our countrymen in Middle East, Armenia, and Artsakh. Through it all, people have come to the Armenian Church for the spiritual strength to face the uncertainties of life. In such trying times, it is especially important to provide comfort and inspire faith.

Every fall we ask you to help ensure the continuation of the work our Diocese undertakes, by supporting the Annual Appeal. With your partnership, we are able to swiftly galvanize support in times of need. That’s never been more critical than in this time of the lingering COVID crisis, worldwide unrest, and the ongoing need to defend Artsakh and Armenia.

Here in the Eastern Diocese, compassionate outreach continues to the needy, the vulnerable, the grieving. As restrictions on public gatherings have relaxed, our churches have opened their doors to safe, in-person worship—frequently while offering simultaneous broadcasts for the benefit of faithful living in isolation. Our youth, elders, and families have found fellowship and inspiration on the Eastern Diocese’s media platforms—enhanced with VEMKAR.us, our ambitious online initiative pioneered during the past two years.

Your generous gift of any size will help sustain these vital ministries of the Armenian Church in America.
