Hard though it is to believe, an entire generation has elapsed since that infamous day of 24 years ago: September 11, 2001. We offer prayers to God for His mercy, protection, and remembrance, as across our nation, people solemnly commemorate the anniversary.
On Wednesday, September 3, the Eastern Diocese’s NextGen Leaders partnered with AGBU Young Professionals of Greater New York and AGBU Arts to present Jazz on the Plaza—an uplifting evening of live music held at the iconic St. Vartan Cathedral in New York City.
Last week, scholars from the Armenian Oriental Orthodox, Orthodox, Catholic, and Lutheran churches, along with leaders on the world ecumenical stage, gathered at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for an international conference titled, “Living the Creed Today: Commemorating the 1700th Anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea.”
