Khatchkar

Photographer Hrair Hawk Khatcherian will present his new book featuring photos of Armenian khatchkars (stone crosses) at the Diocese’s Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center on Thursday, March 30 at 7 pm.

Gerry Ajemian

Holy Trinity Church of Cambridge, MA, will host the Gregory Hintlian Memorial Golf Tournament, This Year Remembering Gerry Ajemian, on Monday, June 19, at Marlborough Country Club (200 Concord Rd., Marlborough, MA 01752). Everyone is invited to join for golf or for dinner and socializing. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Player’s fees are $175, which includes hospitality, lunch, dinner, green, and cart fees. Dinner only is $50 per person. The second in a series of events celebrating books and courage and legends, Holy Trinity Armenian Church is proud to present Boston Celtics’ Legend M.L. Carr who will share his inspiring life story. John Evans
Former United States Ambassador to Armenian John M. Evans will speak at the first event in a series presented by Holy Trinity Church that will honor books, courage, and legends in the Charles and Nevart Talanian Cultural Hall. Ambassador Evans will discuss his book “Truth Held Hostage,” in which he recounts his experience as a diplomat in Armenia and his life post-Armenia after being dismissed from his position in 2005 for publicly acknowledging the Armenian Genocide.  All are welcome to attend. St. Gregory The Enlightener Armenian Church

The Culture Committee of St. Gregory the Enlightener Church of White Plains, NY, will host the 15th annual Lionel Galstaun Memorial Concert on Sunday, March 26. The concert will be held in the church sanctuary, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Cellist Eddie Pogossian and pianist Vatche Jambazian will perform. The concert is free and open to the public.
