“Music of Poetry” Concert (Providence, RI)

Saintly Women’s Day (New Britain, CT)
Holy Resurrection Church of New Britain, CT, will host Saintly Women’s Day on Saturday, Mar. 9, at the church (1910 Stanley St., New Britain), organized by the Women’s Guild. New Documentary Film Airing on PBS: “Armenia, My Home”
A new documentary film, Armenia, My Home, will be airing on PBS stations starting February 23. The breathtaking exploration of Armenia’s rich culture features stunning cinematography, striking archival photographs, and vibrant music. Viewers are led on a compelling journey through Armenia’s landscapes, blending the epic with the everyday, evoking the deep emotions felt by Armenian Americans for millennia.
In featured interviews, Armenian Americans share what makes the country “home” for even those in the diaspora. Among the speakers is Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese; actor Eric Bogosian; authors Peter Balakian and Chris Bohjalian; artist Michael Aram; television personalities and community leaders. The film is narrated by actress Andrea Martin, and produced by Andrew Goldberg, whose earlier films brought the Armenian experience to a large international audience.
