To commemorate the 70th anniversary of South Milwaukee’s Holy Resurrection Cemetery, and to honor Father’s Day, the Holy Resurrection and St. John the Baptist churches will celebrate a joint outdoor Divine Liturgy on the cemetery grounds (1434 Rawson Ave., South Milwaukee, WI), on Sunday, Jun. 17, at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial luncheon (madagh). The Holy Martyrs Church of Bayside, NY, will commemorate its 60th anniversary with a special prayer service on Friday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at the church (20915 Horace Harding Expy., Bayside). Join local clergy, servicemen, and community leaders–incl. Councilman Barry Grodenchik and others–who have been supportive of Holy Martyrs and the Armenian community over the past 60 years.
