The Cultural Committee of St. Thomas Church (Tenafly, NJ) will host a book presentation by Armenian Canadian photographer Hrair Hawk Khatcherian on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m., at the church facility (174 Essex Dr., Tenafly). In the N.J. launch of his new book, Mr. Khatcherian will present Aghtamar: The Armenian Architectural Masterpiece. The evening includes a Q&A, book signing, and wine and cheese reception. The Eastern Diocese’s Sacred Music Council (SMC) invites all parish choir directors to join a “Virtual Gathering of Choir Directors” on Tuesday, Sep. 30, at 8 p.m. EST, over the Zoom video platform. Participants will share ideas, experiences, and resources; strengthen local and Diocesan music ministries; connect and collaborate with fellow choir directors. St. Nersess Armenian Seminary will celebrate the vocations of the 12 St. Nersess Seminary alumni with a gala banquet on Saturday, Nov. 22, titled: 12 Vocations: Variety of Gifts, One Spirit.
