St. Leon Church (Fair Lawn, NJ) will host a class on “How to Protect Against Scams and Fraud,” on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:15 p.m. (following dinner at 6 p.m.), at the church’s Abajian Hall (12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn). Mark Pinajian, founder of Defend Prep Strategies, will address phone, online purchase, tech support, tax and other scams. A day-long conference on empowering Orthodox Christian women, titled “Walking in Strength and Spirit: The Power of Orthodox Femininity,” will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at St. Leon Armenian Church (12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn, NJ). Holy Trinity Church of Cambridge, MA, and the Erevan Choral Society and Orchestra will present a “Christmas Holiday Concert” on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary (145 Brattle St., Cambridge).
