Some 40 participants—spanning the decades from the 1950s to the present—joined an online gathering this week for the inaugural ACYOA Alumni Night.
On the evening of Sunday, February 21, current and former Armenian Church youth took a virtual stroll down memory lane via the Zoom video platform, to share stories, photos, and trivia. Participants of every age were delighted to see familiar faces, reminisce about the past, and reflect on how the ACYOA had shaped their adult lives.
The ACYOA Central Council, which organized the event, is grateful to everyone who took part, and plans to hold another online ACYOA Alumni Night soon. And a year down the road, former ACYOA-ers will be able to gather in person for the organization’s special “75th+1” anniversary celebration, scheduled for the weekend of September 16-18, 2022.
