In the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, and in light of current concerns regarding New York City, the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America announced earlier this month that the Diocesan Center has been closed to the public as of March 16, and will remain so at least through April 12.
The 33rd annual Women’s Guild Assembly brought together 37 delegates—including 12 first-time participants—who represented 20 of the 34 active Women’s Guilds within the Eastern Diocese.
Saintly Women’s Day was marked in several locations across the Eastern Diocese on March 23.
Women’s Guild representatives from local parishes across the Eastern Diocese met in West Harrison, NY, in early May for the 32nd annual Women’s Guild Assembly. The gathering at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel was hosted by the St. Gregory the Enlightener Church of White Plains, and organized by the Women’s Guild Central Council (WGCC).
Three months after their Annual Assembly, Women’s Guild members continue to be inspired by the spirit of Christian fellowship and outreach they experienced in Washington, D.C., last spring.
