From January 20 to 22, more than 40 young adults from 16 parishes across the Eastern Diocese gathered at St. Kevork Church in Houston, TX for the annual ACYOA Seniors Chapter Workshop. Organized by the ACYOA Central Council, the weekend focused on finding ways to strengthen local ACYOA chapters. The Rev. Fr. Martiros Hakobyan, pastor of St. Kevork Church, served as the weekend’s chaplain.
On Sunday, December 11, St. Kevork Church of Houston, TX, celebrated its 35th anniversary and welcomed Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern), who took part in the day’s events.
The ecumenical group Christian Churches Together in the USA hosted a panel on the Armenian Genocide as part of its annual convocation, held earlier this month in Houston, TX.
