Dr. Jesse Arlen (director, Diocese’s Zohrab Information Center) will speak on the meaning of Shnorhali’s life for today, honoring the 850th anniversary of the saint’s death. Bergen Community College will host a concert-performance of Gorky’s Dream Garden—a musical-theater opera of love, courage, & modern art—on Wednesday, Sep. 20, at Ciccone Theatre (400 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ). The concert-and-soirée starts at 7:30 p.m. This multi-media show based on the life of Arshile Gorky is by award-winning composer Michelle Ekizian; the live performance includes stars from ballet, opera, and Broadway.
