The Armenian Church of Rochester will commemorate the 104th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with a concert on Sunday, May 12, at 3 p.m., at Incarnation Episcopal Church (1957 Five Mile Line Rd., Penfield, NY). The concert was conceived by students from the Eastman School of Music & University of Rochester: Robert Petrosyan (Vocalist); Anthony Gurunian (Piano); Gary Hovsepian (Cello); Arsen Jamgotchian (Piano). Douglas Ussher Baker will read “The Salt Bag,” a Genocide memoir essay by his mother, Eleanor Ussher Baker, daughter of medical missionary Clarence Ussher.
