The ACYOA Juniors of St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Church in Wynnewood, PA, will host the ACYOA Juniors Fall Sports Weekend, Friday to Sunday, Oct. 11-13. Master pianist Şahan Arzruni will perform “A Tribute to Komitas’ 150th Anniversary,” a benefit concert in Washington, DC, on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m., at La Maison Française (4101 Reservoire Rd. NW, Washington). Proceeds benefit the Fund for Armenian Relief’s Vanadzor Old-Age Home in Armenia. The concert is presented under the auspices of the U.S. embassies of Armenia and France, and endorsed by the Eastern Diocese’s Women’s Guild Central Council and St. Mary Church of Washington, DC. St. Leon Church of Fair Lawn, NJ, will hold a luncheon and program to honor Fr. Diran Bohajian for his 20 years of pastoral leadership at the parish (and his 26 years as a priest) on Sunday, Nov. 17, following badarak (starts 10 a.m.) at the church (12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn).  Bishop Daniel Findikyan will preside. The ACYOA Seniors National Fall Retreat, hosted by the ACYOA Central Council, will take place over the weekend of Nov. 8-10 (Friday-Sunday). Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will spend the weekend alongside the young adults gathered at the St. Iakovos Retreat Center in Kansasville, WI. Young adults age 18 and older are welcome to attend. There is no registration fee, but participants are responsible for all transportation costs.
