New York’s St. Vartan Cathedral will host a special cultural performance of the ArmFolk Group from Armenia, on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 12:30 p.m. (following the Feast of the Holy Assumption badarak) in Haik and Alice Kavookjian Auditorium (630 Second Ave., at 34th St., New York City). Featuring Armenian folksingers, dancers, and traditional musicians from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin’s Hratch and Suzanne Toufayan Youth Center. Admission is free; reception to follow.
