In-Person Youth Camp: Vacation Bible School (Bayside, NY)
Holy Martyrs Church of Bayside, NY, will hold its 2021 “Vacation Bible School” as an in-person event meeting Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, at the church facility (209-15 Horace Harding Expy., Bayside). ONLINE YOUTH EVENT: Virtual Diocesan Summer Camp (July 18-24)
The Eastern Diocese’s summer camp programs will operate this year—as they did in 2020—as virtual activities, run remotely but interactively over the Internet. The directors of Hye Camp and St. Vartan Camp, along with staff of the Diocese’s Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, are excited to welcome campers and their families to another summer of Virtual Camp—which will run Sunday, July 18 through Saturday, July 24. There is no cost to register for the program, and registration will remain open until the start of the camp week. However, those who register before June 18 will receive a camp “care package” in the mail. ONLINE YOUTH EVENT: 2021 ACYOA General Assembly
The 2021 ACYOA General Assembly will go forward as a virtual gathering on Saturday, May 22. Armenian Church youth from across the Eastern Diocese will meet over the Zoom conference platform on that date, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT (9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. CDT). The online forum is open to all young adults of the Eastern Diocese; indeed all who are interested in joining and observing the ACYOA General Assembly are welcome to tune in.
