St. Leon Church (Fair Lawn, NJ) will hold an online forum to examine the legacy of racial violence and inequality, and the responsibility of perpetrators and non-perpetrators alike. The event will take place on Tuesday, Jun. 23, at 7:30 p.m. EDT, on the Zoom video conference platform. Henry Theriault (president, International Association of Genocide Scholars) will moderate a discussion by Jermaine McCalpin (chair, African & African American Studies at NJCU), Michael Rothberg (Goetz Chair in Holocaust Studies at UCLA), and Kohar Avakian (Ph.D. student at Yale).
