Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, will celebrate its acquisition of the 3,000-volume library of the late, great scholar of Armenian studies Robert W. Thomson, with an exhibit and lecture, on Friday, Oct. 28. Bp. Daniel Findikyan will be the special speaker in Heritage Hall (620 Michigan Ave. N.E., Washington) beginning at 5 p.m., with a reception to follow. The speech is paired with an exhibit of Armenian books from the Thomson and university collections, in Mullen Library (May Gallery, Rm. 119). The event is sponsored by CUA’s Institute for the Study of Eastern Christianity.
