The Eastern Diocese’s fall 2021 “Sacred Music Festival” will run Friday to Sunday, Oct. 8-10, at Holy Resurrection Church in New Britain, CT (1910 Stanley St., New Britain). The festival is open to altar servers, choir members, organists, and all who love Armenian liturgical music. As conceived by the Diocese’s Sacred Music Council, the “Sacred Music Festival” will feature instructional workshops with musical experts, educational seminars, and concert performances of liturgical music.

Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will deliver the keynote presentation, “The Holy Translators: Christ in a New Key,” on Saturday morning. Sessions include music training by Dn. Rubik Mailian, workshops by Fr. Arshen Ayvazian, Fr. Haroutiun Sabounjian, Linda Bullock, and others. Concert-presentations on Friday and Saturday nights.
