St. Leon Church in Fair Lawn, NJ, will present a screening of the documentary Nişo’s Flute on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 7:30 p.m, at the church (12-61 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn). A presentation by musician Ara Dinkjian, a discussion with the director Sedat Kiran, and a reception will follow the screening. FILM DESCRIPTION: Nişo’s Flute tells the story of two artists: Nishan Dikran (Master Nişo), an Armenian craftsman of wind instruments who returns to Dikranagert after surviving the Armenian Genocide, and Zülfü Yokuş (Zilfo), a Kurdish kaval player.
