The Knights & Daughters of Vartan (NJ) and St. Leon Church of Fair Lawn, NJ, will screen the animated film Aurora’s Sunrise (based on the Genocide survival story of Aurora Mardiganian) on Sunday, Apr. 19 at 2 p.m., at the church facility (12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn). A reception and live Q&A session with director Inna Sahakyan (via Zoom) and scholar Elyse Semerdjian (author of Remnants) will follow.
