New York’s St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral played host to a stellar concert on March 15 titled “Hymns of the Heart,” honoring the 40th anniversary of the “Khorenian” setting the Armenian Divine Liturgy, and paying tribute to its distinguished composer, Maestro Khoren Mekanejian.
Holy Week at St. Vartan Cathedral: March 24 through 31
Holy Week signals the end of the Lenten period of separation, and a return to the full life of the church. The coming Holy Week will go forward in the Eastern Diocese with in-person worship as well as the online broadcast of services.
