2025 ACYOA Senior Lenten Retreats
Members of the ACYOA Central Council traveled across the Eastern Diocese during the season of Lent, to lead three regional day-long retreats for ACYOA Seniors and young adults. More than 70 participants came together among all three locations to explore this year’s theme: “Made in His Image.”
Bishop Mesrop Visits Atlanta, as a Cross Finds a New Home

A Lenten Retreat for Clergy of the New England Region
This year’s Lenten Retreat for Clergy of the Eastern Diocese in the New England region took place March 24-26, at Betania II Catholic Evangelization Center in Medway, MA. Under the auspices of Diocesan Primate Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, 18 clergymen from the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut (as well as from locales in Florida, Texas, and Virginia) gathered for prayer and reflection on the theme, “The Spirituality of the Preacher.”
A Visit to the Myrtle Beach Mission Parish Reinforces Faith
On March 21 and 22, Diocesan Primate Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan paid a visit to the Myrtle Beach Mission Parish in South Carolina. He found there an Armenian community that is small but mighty, embodying strong connections to heritage, and a faith that truly reflects the resilience of the Armenian Christian identity.
