Dr. Kim Sirvart Theriault, Professor of Art History, Criticism and Theory at Dominican University, in River Forest, ILL, presented an in-depth lecture on the art of the world famous artist Arshile Gorky, and its connections to his Armenian identity. The event was held on Thursday evening, March 10, at the Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center, of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America in New York City, before more than a 100 attendees.
U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Addresses New York Community

More than 150 people heard U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills lay out U.S. policy and goals that will be pursued in Armenia during his term. New York was his first stop in a two-week speaking tour that included the Armenian communities of Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Fresno, and Los Angeles, and concluded on March 11.
ACYOA Chapter Workshop in Florida
Last weekend 52 young adults from 17 parishes across the Eastern Diocese gathered in St. Petersburg, FL, for the annual ACYOA Seniors Chapter Workshop. The weekend of reflection, worship, leadership-building, and fellowship was organized by the ACYOA Central Council.
