The November edition of AGBU Insider magazine features a profile of Bishop Daniel Findikyan, offering a glimpse into his ministry as Diocesan Primate.
It’s a ministry that has faced unprecedented circumstances in this year dominated by a worldwide pandemic, societal unrest and uncertainty in America, and a terrible war in defense of our homeland. Under such trials, the message of the church has become more vital than ever, Bishop Daniel says. And it’s a message the entire world needs to hear.
“The Armenian Church is here not only to serve the spiritual needs of its people, but also to spread our message to the world that no other Christian church can express in quite the same way. We have lived the Christian faith, spilled blood for that faith, created sacred music and art, lived a monastic life and taught the gospel in ways utterly unique,” he explains in the article titled, “The Fearless Shepherd.”
The entire interview is an insightful look into the Primate’s past and present, and into paths that lie ahead for the Armenian Church in America. Click the link below to view and download the article in PDF format. (An online version of the full issue can be read here.)
