Seminary Summer Conference Welcomes Primate

Bishop Mesrop returned to St. Nersess Armenian Seminary last week, to spend time among the young faithful taking part in the seminary’s various summer programs. This time, he joined the bright participants of the High School Summer Conference.

“It was a blessing to enjoy dinner with these youth, to share recollections of my own spiritual journey, and listen to their own experiences,” Bishop Mesrop said. “We enjoyed a meaningful Q&A session, where I had the opportunity to answer questions about faith and life. The evening was beautifully enriched by our collective singing of Armenian songs. We concluded the night with an uplifting evening service, filling our hearts with peace and gratitude toward our Heavenly Father.”

The Primate thanked St. Nersess Seminary dean Fr. Mardiros Chevian, the conference chaplain Fr. Ghevond Ajamian, and all the staff, organizers, and volunteers for putting together a remarkable program. “Your dedication to nurturing the faith of our youth is truly commendable,” he said.

To the participants themselves, Bishop Mesrop added: “As you return to your homes and communities, carry with you the light of knowledge, the warmth of fellowship, and the love of God that you found here. May your experiences at the conference be a guiding force in your lives, shaping you into compassionate, humble, and strong individuals who walk in the footsteps of our ancestors. Keep the flame of faith burning bright, for you are the future leaders and ambassadors of our beloved Armenian Church.”
