Every summer, pastors from the Eastern Diocese answer the call to visit Armenia, and to bring their parishioners as well as their personal ministry to the homeland.
Happy Independence Day
On behalf of our Primate Bishop Daniel Findikyan and the entire Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America, we wish all of you a happy Independence Day.
A New Priest for the Church
The Armenian Church was blessed with a new priest this weekend, as Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel performed the sacrament of holy orders on the former Deacon Narek Garabedian.
A World Summit on the Church and the Environment
Some 50 theologians and educators—including three representatives from the Eastern Diocese—gathered in Istanbul on June 1-3, for the third “Halki Summit on the Environment” organized by His All-Holiness Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch.
A Season of Beginnings
The yearly transition to summer is a special time in the Armenian Church calendar. In quick succession, we observe our Lord’s Ascension, Pentecost, St. Gregory’s release from the pit, and the birth of Holy Etchmiadzin.
